In the Beginning...

My first pattern (#941) started as a dream. Seriously! While I was sleeping one night, I dreamt that I cut up a regular sweatshirt and turned it into a quilted cardigan, going through the process step by step. When I woke up, I couldn’t wait to get started! Each time I wore my cardigan, I received compliments from friends who then begged me to make one for them. After making several, I decided to make a pattern for it so my sewing friends could make their own. And that was the start of Nancy’s Cut Ups!
